Edustria students were adequately challenged at this year’s Career Week and College Fair. Guidance Associate and Student Services Coordinator Ms. Natalie Macaraig invited several resource speakers to talk about their profession and the challenges they encountered on their journey to success. From Life Coach Jhen Villapando to concurrent Finance and Administration Director at Edustria High School and Chief Accountant and Budget Director of Far Eastern University, Ms. Pamela Hernandez, students listened to challenges, words of encouragement, and important career advices. Students also heard from Human Resources Officer Ms. Alyssa Tinaja on how best to prepare for a job interview and draft a convincing resume, cover letter and what most employers look for in employment candidates. The founder of inhinyero.org Engr. Nick Salomon, the CEO and founder of Hello Lipa Jayzar Recinto, the President of Alitagtag College Dr. Catherine Recto-Banta, and Ms. Pamela Hernandez on the other hand, gave career advice on the field of engineering, entrepreneurship, medicine, and accountancy, respectively. The students were fortunate to have such a pool of talented and admirable resource speakers. Thank you again to all our speakers and we look forward to a brighter future for our Edustria students because of the knowledge and wisdom they shared with them.
